Projects that bring joy_
Garden Bridge

// OUR TAKE:

More Joy, Please.

The Vessel in New York City.
The Garden Bridge in London.
...even the humble Bean in Chicago.

The Bean

You may or may not be someone who reads up on architecture and urban planning, but if you do, you know there are vastly mixed opinions out there about these projects, none of which are Highline clients. We'll do our best to avoid that fight, but we do want to say this:

"Hey KC, let's bring some great ideas to life."

Yes, there are still very important development challenges to address, from affordable housing, to pot holes, to sprawl, but we also need to continue to invest in ideas that bring us wonder, excitement and joy.

Maybe some of those "out there" ideas can even start to address some of our most important local challenges.

For decades, many Kansas Citians have invested in the arts, culture and non-profits. Thank you! Maybe there's someone out there who wants to invest in, or bring to life, something for the pure fun of it? For the lasting value of creating smiles and sparking whimsy?

We'd love to hear what you're thinking.

In the meantime, here are a few other joy-inducing things we're seeing:

3D Printed concrete homes.....coming to a neighborhood near you (3Strands Neighborhoods is a Highline client.)

Rock Island Bridge in Stockyards KC.png
